Specialising in transforming vintage pieces into stunning one-off contemporary designs, Clara begins by selecting an original vintage piece of jewellery and listening to the secret stories it whispers about the era it came from as she prepares her designs. She then enhances the piece with semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls and carefully selected vintage beads which perfectly co-ordinate with the original focal point - each piece is completely unique. Clara has a vast collection of vintage originals: 1920’s crystals, 1930’s dress clips, ‘40’s pearls, ‘50’s brooches, ‘60’s beads and an array of sumptuous semi-precious stones… uncut emeralds, rose quartz, aqua marine, silver and gold freshwater pearls, Art Deco diamante…whatever inspires you to dream. Clara can advise you as to the pieces she currently has available or is able to source. Clara Lupino works from the heart and guarantees to create one-off, beautiful pieces of work for each client to treasure for a lifetime and pass on to a loved one as a cherished heirloom. As well as working with specific colour schemes, Clara may invite individual clients to present certain sentimental items of family jewellery for inclusion within the design of their bespoke piece.
